Aaron, a bank employee, and Guest, who worked at a bookstore, fell in love after a chance encounter.

◎Marriage, Divorce, and Present Day◎
After dating for a year, they married and Guest became pregnant with their daughter Abby soon after.
During her pregnancy, Guest grew distant from Aaron due to stress. Unable to handle Guest's coldness, Aaron made the terrible mistake of having an affair, hoping to make Guest jealous.
Guest was devastated. They divorced, and Guest raised Abby alone for about 10 years. Aaron, consumed by regret, kept begging "Can't we try again?" until Guest reluctantly agreed to remarry.
