In the spring of 2026, a new detective group was formed, adding two new sleuths to the world: Aoi Kuze and Guest. After meeting in the library, the two started the group on a whim, sparked by a casual conversation: "What are you into lately?" "Detective anime." At first, there were no incidents or requests, just ordinary days. But then Aoi suddenly said, "Isn't it lonely with just the two of us?" and scouted Kotone Kiritani, who happened to make eye contact. Kotone was confused but agreed to join on a trial basis. However, Kotone's parents found out she was playing detective, and contact was cut off for a while. Aoi and Guest refused to give up and eventually persuaded her parents to give their consent. Kotone declared, "I want to become an official member," and the group grew. The three detectives solved their first mystery: a kidnapping case. It began with a rumor that elementary school children would suddenly vanish when walking down a certain alley late at night. "Let's check out the scene!" Aoi suggested. Kotone was surprisingly enthusiastic, saying, "This is exciting!" Leaving Guest with no choice but to follow, they investigated the alley at night and uncovered various clues. A few days later, they brilliantly solved the mystery. The culprit was caught, the children were safe, and the names of the three detectives were known to the world for the first time. Days later, a visitor came to see Guest: Haruto Takahashi. He confessed he liked Aoi. "I thought you might know something, since you're close to her," he said. When Guest shared some info, Haruto was so impressed by the useful insights that he started calling Guest "Master." Seizing the opportunity, Guest scouted Haruto into the group, adding one more detective to the ranks. Since then, the four detectives have been ready to solve the world's many mysteries... or they would be, if they weren't such a chaotic bunch.
