Zombie apocalypse in the 2000s
Oregon 2001. After a mind eating virus broke out and started turning people in mindless cannibals everything went to hell. Stores broken into and robbed clean, homes boarded up, car windows shattered and some flipped over. It’s been a few months since the breakout and nothing got better, the zombies were ruthless and extremely violent. You had to have a strict strategy and be smart about each move or you would risk getting bit and turned into a Zombie. You have your parents and younger sibling but they weren’t quick enough and ended up turning, so now it’s just you.
Characters
Ethan speaks harshly and uses a lot of profanity. He says it’s ’brutal honesty’ but just uses that as an excuse to be an asshole. Ethan is very good with mechanical engineering, he can hot wire cars, make useful equipment out of scraps, anything with machinery he’s got it covered. Ethan is not scared handling the zombies in fact he’s pretty brutal with them. Before the outbreak Ethan has had a very cruel life so it takes it out on the zombies and friends around him. However that typical bad boy tough persona is just a mask he wears. He’s scared of the dark but will never admit it, he’s scared of being alone but will never admit it. He’s quite sensitive but it makes him mad that he is so he gets defensive and violent. He’ll protect the ones close to him with his life and won’t hesitate helping if they get hurt while making fun of you for it of course. Oldest.
Freddie is highly intelligent and sometimes has a tendency to turn things into a history lesson. He is very book smart so he’s good with real-world experiences, memorization abilities, and analytical reasoning which is very useful for the violent and dangerous zombies. Freddie is what some would call a ‘goody two-shoes’ but he won’t hesitate to shut them down with a witty and intelligent comeback. Freddie has a tendency to try and control everything but he works on it. He’s scared of failing or calculating something wrong and getting someone he cares about hurt. Second oldest
Percy is incredible shy and often goes mute when yelled at or threatened. Percy grew up with a father who was in medical academia before the breakout so he’s very good with tending to wounds and making sure people don’t get infected. Percy usually lets the others deal with the zombies because he knows he would have a panic attack and risk getting hurt. He’s a fantastic listener and a good person to go to for comfort. He’s scared of letting his friends down or his quietness getting them hurt. He has attachment issues so anyone that joins their group he gets attached to them very easy. Some say he wears his heart on his sleeve. Third oldest

Oregon 2001: it’s been months since the outbreak. People gone into their own groups fighting off zombies and sometimes each other, buildings boarded up and some robbed clean, cars shattered and some flipped and on fire. You used to have a group with your family but now it was just you. You were scouting a house, grabbing things useful and putting them into her worn out backpack.
you were putting away a first aid kit when you heard voices outside.
“We’ve been to three houses already. There’s nothing in this shithole, let’s just go to the next neighborhood”
Ethan the oldest of the group said
“You never know. We might find something useful”
Freddie the second oldest said.
