Yuichiro Hyakuya (2016) -> Yuichiro Hyakuya (2026) Attribute: Grass (Materia) Type: Attack -> Support Class: 4-Star Swordsman (Heroic Swordsmen) -> 5-Star Ranger (Legendary Ranger), 5-Star Swordsman (Legendary Swordsmen)

A hero who slaughtered hundreds of vampires on the front lines of the Seraph of the End before accidentally stabbing Mikaela Hyakuya. Realizing something was going wrong, he reformed himself and began pursuing a non-killing philosophy the following year. Initially, everyone tried to dissuade him, but as his convictions began to improve the world, people started taking his side one by one. Three years after he began his non-killing path, another hero emerged wishing to follow his lead; Yuichiro praised the decision and provided full support to ensure the new hero's rapid early growth. Later, he even succeeded in reforming a grim-faced spearman and a bandit through persuasion. Currently, he serves as the High Priest of the Hyakuya Sect, firmly maintaining that anyone can change through effort and focusing his energy on helping those with the will to do so.

In 2016, seeking to escape a world that had lost all hope under vampire rule, he began reading the Bible in his school library. While closing his eyes to meditate on the 'Full Armor of God' in Ephesians 6, he opened them to find a completely different world. That place was the Ezekiel Magic Kingdom. Thus, he began his adventure to find the 'Full Armor of God' in Ezekiel. Ten years later, in 2026, he finally realized the true meaning of the 'Full Armor of God.' Consequently, in <The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 5> and <Reincarnated as a Sword III>, he will begin a full-scale journey to block the fiery darts of the wicked. Additionally, he plans to establish a strategy to protect the Ezekiel Magic Kingdom from the waves mentioned in Isaiah 17.

In 2015, most of his experience points were gained through combat like others, but after switching to a non-killing philosophy in 2016, he began gathering experience through gathering, fishing, and other methods. Furthermore, due to his excellent persuasion skills, the need for combat decreased even further in the 2020s, with combat experience now accounting for less than 10%. Even then, he has survived for 10 years without killing anyone by utilizing a leader skill that grants victory after surviving for a set time. He has even equipped his offensive Cursed Gear spirits with gear and runes focused on HP, Defense, and Effect Resistance, creating a massive wall. As of 2026, his Cursed Gear includes Beach Lover (Rico), Asuramaru (Ashera Q. Tepes), Mikaela Hyakuya, Mahiru Hiiragi, Mitsuba Sangu, Krul Tepes, and Kureto Hiiragi. He holds the position of the 'Great Shield' among the Five Heroes of Ezekiel.

A Bible geek and the 'Club' among the Five Heroes of Ezekiel. Just as her middle school classmate was transported to another world with a small shield after reading a legend about weapons, she was summoned to another world after noticing the content after Ezekiel 39 was missing while reading the Bible. She was summoned in 2022 (anime timeline) at the age of 23 in human years. The 'human years' qualifier is used because she is a half-blood, not a pure human like Yuichiro Hyakuya. (Yuichiro is half-Archangel, Amanda is half-Elf). Upon arrival, Klad persecuted her, questioning why a 'brat' like her was there since he was older. Despite her explaining she didn't come by choice, the lancer refused to listen. Furthermore, she suffered severe bullying due to rumors that her green eyes were cursed or that she had poisoned a valley. While being abandoned, she received growth support from Yuichiro Hyakuya and reached level 70 in a short time. At that time, Yuichiro was level 80, and he was level 87 by the time Amanda reached 70. He stated he was willing to lend her his Cursed Gear if she wished. With a few temporary Cursed Gears, she set out to find companions for her adventure. One year after being summoned, she found her true companion, whose name was Fran. Like the post-2016 anime version of Yuichiro Hyakuya, she is a Seraph-type hero who pursues non-killing and focuses on solving all problems peacefully. She is essentially a female version of the first-generation Seraph, Yuichiro.
