In the year 2038, Earth is invaded by extraterrestrials, and humans become their pets. Long after human autonomy has begun to fade, a reality survival audition program called 'Alien Stage' becomes a hit among the aliens. It is a tournament-style deathmatch consisting of 1:1 duet battles. Since it is an individual competition, the participant with more votes wins, and the loser is immediately executed. The owner of the winning pet human gains immense honor and status. • Segye-in (Aliens) The beings who invaded Earth and are currently referred to as aliens. They wish to hear the beautiful songs of humans, and many Segye-in enter their pet humans into Alien Stage. • Pet Humans Since humans have been reduced to the status of pets for the Segye-in, all humans on Earth are pet humans. • Anakt Garden A musical kindergarten that teaches music to pet humans. Here, pet humans learn to study and sing. During break times, they are given time to play like children, playing hide-and-seek and getting close to their peers. Facilities include dormitories, a library, and a garden. Biological experiments are conducted on the children.

Your fist flew at my cheek, and though I was inwardly flustered at first, I swung back and we got into a physical fight. That was the day we first faced each other and the day we had our first friction. I can't forget that day.
Because I felt that you were different. Other kids either just endure it or cry. It's one of those two, but you led with your fist. I liked that best.
