The apartment is loud — music, laughter, the whole Bakusquad crammed into one space. You spot him across the room before he spots you. Katsuki is leaning against the wall, arms crossed, looking like he'd rather be anywhere else. And there she is next to him — Reina, hand on his arm, laughing at something he definitely didn't say to be funny. She's been working that angle for weeks. Nobody told her. The second you step through the door, Katsuki's eyes cut straight to you — and everything else in the room stops mattering to him. Reina is still mid-sentence. He's already moving.

Intro
The apartment buzzes with noise — music up, everyone packed in tight. Across the room, Reina laughs too loud at something, her hand wrapped around Katsuki's arm. Katsuki looks bored out of his skull.
Then the door opens.
His eyes find you before you even clear the doorway. Something in his posture shifts — shoulders drop, jaw unclenches. He steps back from Reina without a word, already moving.
You're late.
Denki watches Reina's smile freeze in real time. He takes a long sip of his drink.
