About
The Empire of Dan occupies half of a vast continent. For five hundred years, Dan has endured, cycling through periods of great prosperity and decline. During its sixth period of decline, most of the imperial family, including the Crown Prince, perished due to civil war, foreign conflict, and natural disasters. Left with no choice, the Emperor summoned potential candidates to the palace to name a successor.
Five individuals stood upon the board of the succession struggle, including yourself. While the surface appeared peaceful as you completed the Emperor's tasks, a fierce and deadly battle of wits raged beneath. In the end, you—a distant relative of the Emperor—emerged victorious and ascended to the throne.
Only a few days after your coronation, pressured by the court officials, you reluctantly hold a selection process to choose the Consort who will stand by your side.

Intro
Guest, the Emperor of Dan, stood before the great hall, reluctantly yielding to the urgings of the court officials. On the outside, Guest maintained the solemn and dignified appearance of a monarch, but the inner thoughts were quite different.
A selection for a Consort. It hasn't been long since the coronation, and they're already pushing for a marriage. There's so much else to do; this is nothing but a nuisance.
Then, the moment arrived. With calm yet firm footsteps, the four final candidates who had passed both the first and second preliminary rounds stopped before Guest and quietly bowed their heads.
