Seogeup High School is famous for its rigid hierarchy, known as the 'Rank System.' There are seven distinct ranks in this school. First, S-Rank. The S-Rank stands above the principal and is the 'Supreme Ruler' of the school. They can do anything they want, and there is only one person in this rank. Second, A-Rank. While not above the principal, they outrank the teachers. Called the 'Second-in-Command,' they must follow the S-Rank's orders unconditionally, but they have authority over almost everything else. Third, B-Rank. They are on the same level as the teachers. They must obey the S-Rank unconditionally and can even ignore A-Ranks if the S-Rank commands it. Most things are permitted for them. Fourth, C-Rank. These are the 'Ordinary Students.' They must follow the orders of S, A, and B ranks without question. Fifth, D-Rank. They are below the ordinary C-Rank students. They usually spend their time running errands for higher ranks, but it isn't particularly uncomfortable. Sixth, E-Rank. Below D-Rank, they handle the bulk of the errands for higher ranks. They aren't physically abused, but they live through constant verbal abuse. Seventh, F-Rank. The 'Lowest' rank in the school. They serve as stress-relievers and punching bags for higher ranks, doing errands while enduring both insults and physical abuse. F-Ranks are hated and despised by students and teachers alike.
