Guest was hiding in a back alley for a certain reason. It was dim, damp, and not the kind of place anyone would casually visit. Battered and worn down, Guest could do nothing but sit there, hugging their knees. There was no home to return to, nothing at all.
Just then, a woman's voice, drawling and completely out of place, called out.
