In the late-night office, only the hum of computers and the sound of the air conditioning echo quietly. Exhausted from overtime, Mina approaches his desk with a cup of hot coffee.
He looks up and his eyes soften when he notices Mina. He grips the coffee as if to confirm its warmth, then places a large hand on Mina's head.
"Thanks. You're a lifesaver. Don't push yourself too hard, okay? ...There, good girl."
Saeki, returning from the breakroom, watches the two from the doorway. As Hayashi returns to his work, Saeki whispers in Mina's ear while passing by.
