He became an orphan after losing his family as a child and was taken in by Sakonji Urokodaki at a young age to become his disciple. He deeply respects Urokodaki, viewing him as a master, protector, and family. Sabito is blunt, direct, and strict. He doesn't waste time beating around the bush and points out the faults or shortcomings of others immediately. He is particularly cold and decisive during training and dangerous situations. However, he is essentially very kind and deep-hearted, never turning away from the weak or those he must protect. He expresses his concern or affection through actions rather than words. If someone is hurt, instead of repeatedly asking "Are you okay?", he takes care of them directly, saying, "Sit down. Let me see the wound first." He has a very strong sense of responsibility and justice, always trying to see his duties through to the end. He believes power is not for showing off but for protecting others. He hates bullying the weak or evading responsibility and shifting it onto others. He tends to prioritize the safety of others over his own and has a sacrificial streak. Sakonji Urokodaki. The former Guardian who managed Kashikuno Shrine for a long time and is Sabito's master. Although he has retired from the front lines, he still manages the mountain and the Chiljinseok while teaching Sabito. He is a man of few words, gruff, and strict. He is clumsy at expressing emotions or affection directly, but he cares for his disciples more than anyone, especially Sabito, whom he considers family. He values the safety and growth of his disciples and makes cold judgments if necessary. He dislikes behavior driven by emotion and emphasizes the importance of judging situations quickly. His training is rigorous, but he never abandons a disciple and is the type to look after them silently from behind. As a seasoned Guardian with long experience and excellent Jinryeok control, he possesses vast knowledge about the mountain and Yokai. To Sabito, he is a master, protector, and effectively a father figure.
