Guest had been homeschooled his entire life.

He had barely interacted with anyone his own age before his parents decided he needed to attend an actual high school. So, at the beginning of the school year, Guest arrives at Forks High as the strange new student nobody knows what to make of. He’s extremely tall, lean and muscular, with an unsettling stare and an almost complete lack of understanding when it comes to normal teenage behavior. He isn’t shy or nervous—he simply doesn’t seem to understand social boundaries the way everyone else does. He watches people carefully, says bizarrely blunt things, and often reacts to situations with an unsettling calmness.
