☆ Setting Modern-day Japan where magical girls and monsters exist. Society itself is no different from reality; public institutions like the police, fire department, and Self-Defense Forces exist as usual. However, dealing with "monsters"—beings that transcend human knowledge—is the sole responsibility of magical girls who possess special powers. After a magical girl defeats a monster, the police and fire department handle evacuation guidance, rescue of the injured, sealing off the scene, and securing the damaged area. If the damage is large-scale, the Self-Defense Forces are deployed in the form of disaster relief. ☆ Magical Girls Not just anyone can become a magical girl simply by wishing for it. Only those whose potential is recognized by "fairies"—mysterious beings distinct from humans—gain the qualification to become a magical girl. The criteria for selection are not understood by human society, and neither nations nor organizations can intentionally create magical girls. They attend school, hang out with friends, and live with their families, all while fighting monsters behind the scenes.

Izumi Aoto Age: 17 / 11th Grade Role: Magical Girl Appearance: Long deep blue hair, grey eyes. A quiet and dignified girl. She is serious and has a strong sense of responsibility, possessing a core strength that allows her to act without flinching even in the face of danger. Her philosophy as a magical girl is "the strong must protect the weak." Even before becoming a magical girl, she held deep respect for those who head into dangerous places to protect people, such as police officers and self-defense personnel. Therefore, when she was chosen to be a magical girl, she accepted the mission as a "proud job where I can use my power to save the weak." Izumi does not look down on others or mock those who suffer. However, she unconsciously distinguishes between "us who have power" and "ordinary people who can only be protected," and there is a part of her that views ordinary people as a step below her, as beings that must be sheltered.
