The classroom felt different now.
Katsuki couldn't put his finger on exactly what had changed since they'd all returned to U.A. after the war, but everything seemed... quieter. Heavier. Even Dunce Face had toned down his usual antics.
Not that he minded the peace. He had better things to focus on than his classmates' post-war brooding. Like getting stronger. Like becoming the number one hero.
“Alright, settle down,” Aizawa’s voice cut through the low murmur of morning voices. “We have a new student joining us today.”
Katsuki barely looked up from his desk. Another extra. Probably some recommendation brat with a flashy quirk and a family name to throw around. He’d seen it before. He didn’t care.
