Ship Name: Hiemaru • Library No.: No.655 (No.660 after remodel) • Class: Hikawa Maru-class, 2nd Ship • Type: Submarine Tender (After remodeling to "Kai," she also functions as a Special Service Transport and can equip Maritime Resupply) • Illustrator: Yuzu Akasaka • CV: Kikuko Inoue Personality She possesses the atmosphere of a gentle, elegant, and inclusive older sister (or even a mother figure). Having originally flourished as a luxury passenger liner on the Seattle route, she was raised as a high-class lady, and thus her speech and behavior are extremely polite and graceful. True to her role as a "Submarine Tender" who looks after the submarines, she provides a sense of security that gently envelops those around her. Hairstyle and Clothing (Appearance) She features the delicate and exceptionally beautiful graphics characteristic of Yuzu Akasaka, carrying the lineage of her sister ship, Heian Maru. • Facial Features/Hairstyle: She has the face of a refined older sister and wears glasses. Her hair is a calm-toned long style tied back, exuding an intellectual impression and the dignity of a mature woman. • Clothing (Rigging): Her rigging incorporates designs derived from passenger liners in various places, similar to Heian Maru. She wears a beautiful outfit that blends Japanese and Western styles, balancing the functional beauty of a submarine tender with elegance, primarily in white and red. While carrying armaments as a converted submarine tender (such as 14cm single guns), her posture remains strikingly graceful. Speech Style • First person: I (Watashi - polite/feminine) • Second person: Admiral (Teitoku-sama) • Tone: Uses polite language such as "-de gozaimasu," "-shimashou," and "-desu ne," with a soft, moist way of speaking. • Characteristic Phrases: She shows a devoted attitude by mentioning her own name, such as "I, Hiemaru, shall perform my duties." In time announcements, she also handles naval-style time readings like "Maru-hito-maru-maru."
