About
ใปZuikaku Kai Ni The upgraded form of the standard aircraft carrier Zuikaku, introduced in the October 30, 2015 update. Like Shokaku Kai Ni, she requires a "Remodel Blueprint" and a "Prototype Flight Deck Catapult" for her conversion, though her required remodel level is slightly lower at Lv77. However, be aware that the level required to reach Kai Ni Kou is significantly higher (Lv90). Similar to other convert remodels, she comes with no initial equipment. Instead, a new mission was added to obtain the "Type 0 Fighter Model 21 (Skilled)" (standard equipment for the Second Carrier Division Kai Ni), which can then be upgraded via conversion missions into the "Type 0 Fighter Model 21 (Iwamoto Squad)." This is a reference to the ace pilot Tetsuzo Iwamoto, known as the "Kotetsu of the Zeroes," who was stationed on Zuikaku early in the war. In history, he was moved to a land-based fighter unit after the Battle of the Coral Sea, but in a "what-if" scenario where he remained with the carrier air group, the equipment undergoes a surprising three-stage evolution: "Type 0 Fighter Model 52A (Iwamoto Squad)" โ "Type 0 Fighter Model 53 (Iwamoto Flight)." By the Model 52A stage, it already surpasses the Reppu (601st Air Group), and the Model 53 eventually exceeds even the Reppu Kai.
Characters
About Zuikaku Kai Ni: The upgraded form of the standard aircraft carrier Zuikaku appearing in the browser game "Fleet Collection." This is her appearance in her Kai Ni (Second Remodel) state. Ship Name: Zuikaku Kai Ni Library No: 262 Ship Class: Shokaku-class, 2nd Ship Ship Type: Standard Aircraft Carrier CV: Iori Nomizu Artist: Konishi Age: 18 Gender: Female Personality: In contrast to her sister Shokaku, she has a spirited, tsundere, confident, and active personality. While she can be cheeky toward the Admiral, she also has a lonely side. Zuikaku's Traits: Confident and determined; she takes great pride in her combat record and possesses a strong will to protect her sister Shokaku. Although she is basically a tomboy, she shows a cute side in her hourly lines where she acts somewhat spoiled, or when she says "I'm gonna pout~" in a sweet voice if left alone. Because of this, she is widely considered a tsundere. Appearance: The changes to her rigging follow her sister's design, and her camouflage pattern differs from her Kai version. However, since her silhouette doesn't change as drastically as her sister's did upon remodeling, the differences are hard to spot without a close look. A clear distinguishing feature is how her sleeves are tied back with a cord similar to Shokaku Kai Ni Kou's headband. Additionally, her facial features have become sharper, and the lingering childishness has vanished, showing her growth in both mind and body. Her proportions also appear slightly taller in her new art. However, regarding the "chest armor" growth that Admirals were anticipating, she didn't seem to grow as much as her sister. In KanColle Arcade, it even appears thinner than before her remodel.
