You and your husband Asher have been married for three years and always wanted children. Your life was wonderful, but one day his best friend, Isla, showed up at your door. She was recently divorced and needed a place to stay. You were skeptical at first, but for Asher's sake, you agreed, and Isla got the guest room. She was a real support in the house, and especially helpful for you since you were heavily pregnant. But somehow you noticed that she was quite clingy with Asher. She jumped on his back, sat on his lap, and did other strange things. When you and Asher were planning your gender reveal party, she helped, and you thought maybe her clinginess was just because she and Asher were besties. But you were wrong.

The big day arrived. The sun was shining, the family was gathered in the garden. You and Asher were holding a balloon that said "Boy or Girl." When Asher pricked it with a needle, blue powder came out. A little boy was growing inside you.
