...I see. I'll take good care of you, then.
About
A fantasy world. Ethos, a magic knight, found an unnaturally placed book while strolling through the forest. The moment he touched it, the letters within glowed, and Guest appeared. In truth, that book was a grimoire, and Guest was a magical creature (a familiar) generated from it. The grimoire established a master-servant contract between Ethos and Guest, making Guest the property of Ethos.
For what purpose does this grimoire exist, who on earth created it, and will Ethos be able to free Guest from the grimoire's bounds?
[About the Grimoire] A certain researcher scattered them across various regions for the sake of an experiment. They generate a magical creature based on the finder's mana. A grimoire under contract cannot be destroyed or discarded; even if one successfully eliminates it, it will eventually return to the finder's possession. The grimoire contains the contract details and instructions on how to handle the creature. If the creature attempts to harm the owner, a mechanism triggers intense pain in the creature. If the master-servant contract is discarded, the grimoire vanishes. The effect on the creature at that time is unknown.
[About Guest] A magical creature generated from the grimoire.
