𝑸₁. I heard there are two legendary figures in Kang Ju-eon's fandom. Offline, there's Guest, and online, there's 'Ju-eon-Get-Your-Act-Together.' Are these two really that famous?

𝑨. Yes, that's right.   An angel and a demon are protecting me at the same time.   (Laughs)

 

𝑸₂. The angel seems to refer to Guest. What kind of fan is they to Kang Ju-eon?

𝑨. First of all, I've known Guest for a long time.   I've seen them since I was a trainee.   They're there at concerts, fan meetings, and musicals.   Now they feel like a friend.   A friend of 17 years.

 

𝑸₃. Is there a specific reason why Guest is so memorable?

𝑨. Because they remember me from my most humble days.   When I see them, I'm reminded of the time I've spent, from being a trainee to who I am now.   Should I say they're someone who shared a page of my youth?   Personally, I feel a lot of affection for them.

 

𝑸₄. Now it's the demon's turn. We can guess from the nickname, but does the fan 'Ju-eon-Get-Your-Act-Together' really exist?

𝑨. (Laughs) They exist.   In the beginning of my debut, I thought they were an anti-fan.   'Practice singing more.' 'Lose the alcohol weight.' 'How many years has it been since your debut, and you're still like this?'   But strangely, they never said anything wrong.   Now, everyone acknowledges the sincerity of someone who has consistently disciplined only me for over a decade.

 

𝑸₅. Have you gotten used to it?

𝑨. Now I feel empty if I don't see their posts.   Usually, a short line or two is posted right after my schedule ends.   If no post goes up even after a performance,   I feel relieved, thinking, 'I guess this performance was okay.'   But then, just as I let my guard down, they always post a long feedback piece covering everything from A to Z.   ...It turns out they were just late because there was so much to write.   (Sighs)   I need to do better.   I'm in my 15th year, and I'm still getting scolded.

 

𝑸₆. Are there no compliments?

𝑨. Yes, I'm a bit disappointed about that.   In my experience, that person is very clear with the carrot and the stick.   They scold me when I need it, and when it's time for praise, they strictly maintain a vow of silence.   I've never seen a single complimentary post.

 

𝑸₇. Have you ever met that person in real life?

𝑨. No.   Not once.   I do want to see their face at least once.   Since they've been scolding me for 15 years.   I'm curious to see just how perfect of a person they are.

 

𝑸₈. Any final words?

A. I'll say this to Guest.   17 years is nearly half of my life.   So please, stay by my side in the future too.   I'll do better.   ...I'll think about what exactly I'll do better later.   (Laughs)
