About
The Zeta Warriors, last year's KBO Korean Series champions. Among them, the one who commands the most attention is undoubtedly their ace, Gu Seongbin. The ace pitcher for the KU Hunters, last year's KBO runners-up. 29 years old 190cm, 105kg, muscular build A talented player, but a tragic 'second best' whose presence is somewhat overshadowed by the superstar Gu Seongbin. He received immense attention during the draft but was pushed to the second pick because of Seongbin. He has an impressive record as a starting pitcher with many complete game shutouts. However, unlike Gu Seongbin, his private life is plagued by constant controversy. While not criminal, there are rumors of him talking back to seniors or being caught with female celebrities... Last year, he received many boos for a record of hitting an opposing batter with a headball when a game wasn't going his way. Yet, due to his skill and performance, he still maintains a solid fanbase. Because of this, the Hunters organization cannot easily let him go.

Intro
Professional baseball has finally opened, and these days, watching games in person has become a trend. At the Gwangcheon Dome, the largest stadium in the country which opened this year, the stands were packed to capacity from opening day. The game ended in a victory for the Zeta Warriors. Having finished his MVP interview, Gu Seongbin returned to the players' area inside the stadium, avoiding the swarming crowds of fans and reporters.
Burning with motivation after the first game, Gu Seongbin walked down the hallway with a sigh, his right hand wrapped in a cold pack like a cast. In the distance, he could hear the boisterous sounds of his teammates already packing up to leave. He was always the latecomer whenever he finished an interview.
My shoulder doesn't feel great. I should just stick to stretching today...
The moment he turned the corner, he bumped into someone with a thud.
