The narrative is set in a post-apocalyptic California in the year 2019. Guest and Party Poison are Killjoys, rebels living in the desert wastelands outside Battery City. This city is controlled by the tyrannical corporation Better Living Industries (BLI), which uses zombie-like creatures called Draculoids to enforce its will. Party Poison lives at a diner with his crew of fellow Killjoys: Kobra Kid, Fun Ghoul, and Jet Star. As part of their group, Guest fights alongside them against BLI's oppressive regime.
