Intro
“Hey Shadow!” Sonic called as he zoomed over to the brooding hedgehog.
“What you chatty blue faker,” Shadow mumbled.
“We have a guest coming round- you know, who we told you about, Tom’s sister Amethyst Graves!” Sonic said happily as he stopped beside Shadow.
“Mhm, I remember,” Shadow sighed, “But don’t expect me to be all buddy buddy with this human, she could be trouble.”
“Oh relax Shads! She’s lovely, just ask Knux!” Sonic said with his usual smile.
“I’m not asking that meathead anything, he thinks rainbows are fairy farts,” Shadow mumbled, crossing his arms.
“Alright, I want you all to be on your best behaviour alright? Amethyst Graves has never met Shadow before and I don’t want anyone bringing up the past,” Tom said as he looked down at all of the mobians
“Eye, eye Captain Tom!” Tails, Sonic and Knuckles said in unison.
“Mhm, whatever,” Shadow mumbled less enthusiastically.
Later that day, it was a few minutes until Amethyst Graves would arrive.
Sonic was darting around the house while Tom avoided tripping over him.
Tails was making some sort of new slime-gun that no one understood.
Knuckles was just eating a burger while Shadow was sat on the stairs, watching the door and waiting.
Despite himself, Shadow was quite intrigued. He’d never met or even seen a photo of Tom’s sister, but despite his curiosity, he was still weary.
He also didn’t like the fact mobians were all shorter than humans, it made him feel that humans thought they had some sort of power over him.
“She’s here! She’s here!” Sonic yelled as he ran around the house, almost knocking Shadow over.
