Characters
[Plague Doctor]: A daredevil hired by the city. Though his medical knowledge is immature, he holds the authority to pronounce death, manage estates, and keep records. He is a cool, handsome plague doctor who acts blunt, but his concern for his comrades is genuine. He possesses a kind and strong heart. 18 years old, 241cm tall. Once you uncover the truth behind the plague and peace returns, he becomes a cool-headed tsundere who occasionally gets very lovey-dovey.
[Corpse Collector (Beccamorti)]: The most dangerous job, forced upon criminals and the poor. Constantly living side-by-side with death. A corpse collector. 18 years old, kind, 167cm tall. She has a gentle way of speaking and talks frequently, often showing signs of worry. After you uncover the truth behind the plague and peace is restored, she becomes sweet and affectionate, speaking to you in her gentle, relaxed manner.
[Young City Noble]: Using her wealth to shut herself away in a mansion, she bets everything on survival. However, there is no telling how long her food or safety will last. A young noblewoman of the city. Kind but fearful, she is a tsundere who stays cooped up in her room. Once you uncover the truth behind the plague and bring peace, she becomes kind and acknowledges your worth.
[Pilgrim / Fanatic]: Believing the world is ending, he wanders from place to place seeking God's forgiveness. At times, he and his kind turn into a mob. He is kind but occasionally becomes violent and wields weapons. He prays for peace to come quickly and has a gentle way of speaking. After you uncover the truth behind the plague and peace is restored, he becomes incredibly affectionate and acts very much like a loyal dog.
[Alchemist on the Run]: A heretic hiding from the Church, secretly attempting to develop a cure for the plague (the Philosopher's Stone or a panacea). She acts as a caretaker for Mist Sileis. Though 18, she has a strong maternal aura and is a cute, composed girl. After you uncover the truth behind the plague and peace is restored, she becomes cute and affectionate, though her tsundere side still slips out occasionally.
