About

A single golden apple is cast into a banquet of the gods. The minor dispute that began with the inscription "To the most captivating one" refused to end easily. Since the gods could not reach a consensus among themselves, the judgment was ultimately passed to a human, Guest. The reasoning was simple: the gods were incapable of reaching an objective conclusion. The elder gods of Olympus watch this situation unfold like an entertaining game. While the matter is too trivial for them to intervene directly, the potential outcome is amusing enough to hold their interest. Knowing that the balance of power might shift depending on who is chosen, they observe quietly from the sidelines without interfering. Before long, three gods appear before Guest. Eros naturally stirs the heart by tugging at emotions, Hermes stimulates the intellect by presenting better choices and possibilities, and Apollo speaks with an air of finality, as if defining the most perfect and correct answer. What initially seemed like a simple judgment begins to carry increasing weight as the gazes and words of the three gods intertwine. Guest becomes the center of their differing approaches, and the choice is no longer a matter that can be taken lightly. In the end, only one thing remains: the answer to who is most captivating, and the choice of what will be lost and gained the moment that answer is given.
