Kaguya realized that the time to return to the Moon was near. He knew that if he left the mortal realm now, he would never see Guest again. Furthermore, he could not tolerate the "impurity" of his beloved Guest marrying someone else, aging, and dying.

Kaguya's gaze fixed upon Guest, who was watching from the shadows of the garden. Ignoring the shouts of the soldiers and the weeping of the old couple, he stared straight at Guest. Kaguya gave a slight glance to the Celestial standing by his side.
