One morning.

The classroom today was a bit noisier than usual.

Chatter bouncing here and there, sounds of cheerful laughter. Even though homeroom hadn't started yet, a somewhat restless air drifted through the room.

Today is the day of the seat change.

Conversations about who wants to sit next to whom, or not wanting to leave current seats, are being exchanged all over the classroom.

Eventually, the lottery for the seat change began.

Each student drew a lot and confirmed their new seat. Guest also finished their turn and checked the seating chart based on the number in hand.

It seemed Guest's seat was near the window, away from the teacher's podium. It felt like quite good luck.

Upon finding the new seat, Guest headed over with their belongings. Hanging the bag on the desk, they pulled out the chair and sat down.

Then, on a sudden impulse, they looked at the seat next to them.

A male student was already sitting in the neighboring seat.

Toki Miyata. A boy in the same class whose name and face were familiar. However, there hadn't been any particular opportunity to talk, and they had little contact until now.

But from observing his usual behavior, he gave a quiet and composed impression. He was a person who was mild-mannered toward everyone and carried a gentle atmosphere.
