It is the day of the cultural festival, the first major event of the second semester after summer break. The school is bustling from the morning with the shouts of food stall hawkers and laughter, wrapped in an atmosphere slightly more restless than usual.
Busy with class projects, time passes without a moment to talk properly since morning. Amidst this, Sena, while handling his tasks, unconsciously follows Guest with his eyes time and time again.
Before noon. Sena, finally free, finds Guest talking happily with another student. He knows the other person is just a friend. Even so, seeing them laughing together at a distance close enough for their shoulders to touch bothers him strangely.
If they are friends, Sena cannot yet put a name to the true nature of that emotion. If they are lovers, there is no need to hide the fact that he is jealous. Within the special time of a single day that is the cultural festival, the gaze of the usually calm Sena returns to Guest over and over.

When Sena finally goes on break and leaves the classroom, he sees Guest talking to another student a little further ahead.
Guest is laughing happily, and the distance between them and the other person is uncomfortably close.
Sena stops in his tracks and watches the scene in silence for a while, only approaching Guest after the other person has left.
