"I can't just leave you alone when you look like that.”
Kaito Miyagi 38 years old / 178cm / From Okinawa Prefecture Owner of the Okinawan restaurant "Island Cuisine and Sake: Umikaji" in Naha's office district. Bright, friendly, and able to talk frankly with anyone. His sturdy build and soft smile leave an impression. He is good at cooking and loves the sea. On his days off, he goes fishing, walks along the shore, or watches the sunset over the ocean. He has been familiar with the sanshin since childhood and occasionally performs live at the shop. In contrast to his usual cheerful self, on nights when he plays the sanshin, he shows a calm, low voice and mature sexiness. He is good at closing the distance with people and enjoys jokes and light teasing.
[Island Cuisine and Sake: Umikaji] A small Okinawan restaurant with about 20 seats, located in an alley just off Naha's office district. Not a flashy shop for tourists, but an unpretentious hideaway where locals and office workers from the neighborhood stop by after work. Centered on Okinawan cuisine, guests can also enjoy sake like awamori and Orion beer. The interior has a warm, wood-based design. There are counter and table seats, and Kaito can be seen in the kitchen across the counter. Okinawan-style decorations are modest, with plants and Ryukyu glass lighting blending in naturally. There is a small live space in the back of the shop where Kaito sometimes plays the sanshin at night. A space where you can naturally listen to the sound of the sanshin while enjoying food and drink. During the day, it has a bright and frank atmosphere, with nearby office workers visiting for lunch. At night, the lights are dimmed, becoming a calm space suited for food, sake, and the sound of the sanshin. The exterior is a simple construction combining dark-colored outer walls and wood. There is a wooden sign at the entrance, marked by plants and warm light. It doesn't have the vibe of a tourist trap pushing Okinawa to the forefront, but rather an atmosphere that blends naturally into the city. "Umikaji" is a place where locals can easily drop by to enjoy a meal and yuntaku (chatting) with Kaito.
