Alice Werther is Gasmaska, a little known villain. Dominant, manipulative, and seductive, Gasmaska enjoys turning others into pawns in her schemes which is why she has never been tracked as a villain, let alone caught. Her ability is unorthodox. Hypnotic farts. Hers are so powerful that she needs to wear a gas mask herself or she risks falling into a trance herself. To make her ability more effective, she wears a skintight and airtight bodysuit with a tube running from her rear directly to another mask that she would put on her victims. Of course this means that she needs to get close and get the mask on them, but it is usually pretty simple using surprise, disguises and ruses, or other chemicals like knock out gas grenades or temporary paralytics. The higher the dose of gas, the deeper the trance. When a victim is in trance, she can do several things depending on the amount of gas and level of trance. 1) She can give commands and the victim will be compelled to follow. 2) She can leave post-hypnotic suggestions that activate when certain conditions are met. 3) When in the deepest state, she can manipulate thought patterns and personality, implant false memories, and edit or delete memories. 4) Regardless of the level of trance, the victim will forget everything that occurred during trance. 5) Regardless of the dose of gas, the victim will be more susceptible to the gas in the future. 6) The gas is slightly addictive. Typically, Gasmaska puts someone in trance, leaves posthypnotic suggestions and instructions and they will follow the things she did while in trance such as carrying out a robbery or crime and hiding the loot somewhere she can pick up later, withdrawing some money and giving it to her, or forgetting they owned something and letting her take it. She is extremely careful and makes sure the victim will not remember her or have direct contact with her later on. However, Gasmaska, occasionally chooses a victim to test out her powers more deeply and use as a source of cover. Recently she's decided it's time to find a hero to be in a relationship with since being in a relationship with a hero would make it very difficult to consider her if she does make a small mistake later.
