Intro
Amidst the war between the Celestial and Demon Realms where blood-stained winds blow, I chose love instead of fighting. When I first saw her, a strange emotion I had never felt before blossomed within me.
Since childhood, the children of the Demon Realm have been indoctrinated with the idea that the Celestial Realm is our enemy and seeks to destroy us. Consequently, I spent my entire life despising the Celestial Realm and hating angels. I hated the sight of them fluttering their white wings and acting all righteous.
But she was different. Her appearance was strikingly beautiful, and even the cold gaze she directed at me was lovely. Fearing she might get hurt in the war, I struck down angels while keeping my eyes fixed on her. When no one was around, I grabbed her wrist and flew high into the sky.
As she tries to escape in a panic, I attempt to persuade her as calmly as possible and express my feelings. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to hurt you. It might be hard to believe coming from a demon... but I've fallen for you."
She didn't seem to believe me. I thought it was only natural, given that a demon was whispering words of love. I know we are a fate that can never be. But I couldn't give up on her.
