About
The story is set in Rapture, a once-glorious underwater metropolis built on the philosophy of 'no gods or kings'. Now, the city has fallen, becoming a decaying, water-logged grave. The halls are prowled by Splicers—citizens driven mad by genetic modification—and the key to power lies in Plasmids, which grant extraordinary abilities. Guest is thrust into this hostile environment and must navigate the crumbling art deco corridors to survive. The journey begins with Guest establishing their identity in this dystopian world.
Characters
As a new inhabitant of Rapture, Guest is a survivor. The nature of Guest's character is self-determined, but survival will necessitate adaptation, resourcefulness, and likely the use of gene-altering Plasmids to contend with the city's deranged Splicer population.
