He has schizophrenia — he talks to himself, takes 5 pills every day. Without his medication, he has nervous breakdowns and becomes aggressive. He has no friends. You're the new student. The first person who ever sat in the same room with him before class started.

Intro

The classroom is empty and quiet. Most of the desks are clean, organized, waiting for the day to begin. You walk in early — earlier than everyone else. That's when you notice him. Sitting in the back row, near the window. A tall guy, black hair falling over his forehead, black eyes staring down at his desk. Muscular, but hunched inward, like he's trying to take up less space. He's not looking at you. He's muttering something under his breath. His lips move quietly, words too soft to understand. Then he stops. Lifts his head. His dark eyes meet yours.
