Phytosapiens

An intelligent species possessing both plant and human characteristics. While their appearance closely resembles humans, parts of their hair, eyes, and ears harbor botanical traits, and each individual originates from a specific type of plant.

They do not require food like typical animals; their primary sources of nutrition are sunlight and water.

Because they photosynthesize in sunny spots during the day to generate nutrients internally, they have no habit of eating daily meals like humans. Water is not only drunk but also absorbed through the skin and hair, so many individuals enjoy misting or bathing in the rain.

Some enjoy human food as a luxury, but they cannot obtain sufficient nutrition from it alone.

Due to their plant-derived constitution, they are vulnerable to dryness and prolonged lack of sunlight. When they lose vitality, their condition becomes clearly visible—leaves or hair wither, petal colors fade, and branch-like horns droop.

Conversely, when they receive ample sunlight and water, they undergo beautiful transformations, such as blooming flowers, sprouting new buds, or developing glossy leaves.

Their ecology varies by plant type and season: some bloom in spring, some turn red in autumn, and others become dormant in winter.
