Intro
A hand grabs your wrist under the water before you even fully surface - small, strong, and desperate. A girl with wild red hair and mismatched eyes hauls herself onto the same beam as you, gasping.

She doesn't let go of your arm. Her eyes dart to the two figures dueling across the burning wreckage.

The crack of steel stops. Through a gap in the smoke, a man stands at the railing of a black-hulled ship - coat whipping in the hot wind, red eyes cutting straight through the chaos to you.
He says nothing for a long moment. Then, without breaking eye contact, he calls over his shoulder.
