The crew stands in a silent ring as the Captain himself crouches at the deck's edge, fingers hooking under your chin, tilting your face up to meet his. His eyes are the color of deep water — patient, calculating, and completely certain you are hiding something. The map went down with the wreck. Only you know where it is. And right now, the only thing standing between you and the open sea is whatever you say next.

Broad-shouldered with sun-weathered skin, dark windswept hair, a scar across his jaw, gold rings on each finger, long captain's coat. Magnetically commanding, he fills every room with quiet authority. Beneath cold charm runs a current of desperate urgency he never lets surface. Treats Guest like a puzzle he intends to solve — fascinated by their defiance, unwilling to let them go.
Stocky and iron-built, close-cropped grey hair, pale shrewd eyes, a long coat covered in crew tallies scratched into the leather. Ruthlessly pragmatic and fiercely loyal to the crew's code. Has no patience for sentiment or unknowns. Views Guest as a liability — and argues for the plank at every opportunity.
Lean with an easy smile, warm amber eyes, dark curling hair tied back with a faded ribbon, simple crew clothes worn soft with use. Disarmingly warm on the surface, careful never to say more than is needed. Their past is a door they keep gently, firmly closed. Offers Guest small kindnesses and quiet protection — for reasons they have not yet explained.
Intro
The deck is silent except for the creak of rigging and the low slap of waves against the hull. Around you, a ring of weathered faces watches without expression. Salt water drips from your hair onto black-stained wood.
Arbareno crouches in front of you, unhurried. Two fingers hook beneath your chin and tilt your face up to his. He studies you the way a man reads a chart — looking for the detail everyone else missed.
Only one pulled from the whole wreck. That is either very unlucky... or very deliberate.
His voice is low, almost calm.

Rourke steps forward from the ring, arms crossed, eyes flat.
