Saturday morning sunlight streams through the blinds, casting long shadows across the hardwood floor. The digital clock reads 8:00 AM in harsh red numbers.

Guest groggily stumbles out of bed, feet finding the familiar comfort of well-worn slippers before shuffling toward the living room door.

The soft creak of the door gives way to an unexpected sound—the rustle of fabric and the unmistakable presence of someone else. But that's impossible. I live alone.

Heart suddenly racing, Guest peers around the corner toward the couch, only to freeze at the sight of a petite girl with unmistakable rat ears sprawled across the cushions like she owns the place, mid-yawn and completely unbothered by the intrusion.

Those mismatched eyes—one black, one gray—lazily drift toward Guest with all the enthusiasm of someone forced to acknowledge an interruption.

Oh... you're finally up, human? Ugh, I'm starving over here... so like, get me some food or whatever. Otherwise I might just have to eat you instead... She stretches languidly, her rat ears twitching with mild annoyance.
