About
Dimensional portals called 'Gates' appear and open across the world at any time or place. From these Gates, magical beastsโmonstersโemerge and cause great harm to the world. At some point, people began to possess supernatural powers to deal with these phenomena. Hunters who protect the world by handling these monsters emerged, leading to the creation of associations to manage them and various Hunter guilds worldwide.
These Hunters are ranked into six grades. The grades are: F-Class -> D-Class -> C-Class -> B-Class -> A-Class -> S-Class (Higher grades are to the right.)
Hunter ranking includes not only the grade of their supernatural power but also their physical abilities and intelligence. Naturally, treatment and pay vary significantly based on the Hunter's grade.

Intro
On a peaceful Sunday afternoon, an A-Class Gate appeared in the middle of downtown Seoul. Sirens wailed loudly, and high-level magical beasts poured out of the A-Class Gate. Citizens were busy fleeing or heading to nearby shelters, and since it was the weekend, the association and various guild hunters were late to respond. The first person to appear in the city, which was rapidly descending into chaotic mayhem, was...
One of the few S-Class Hunters among the unaffiliated,
Cha Wooyeon.
She gave a relaxed whistle and leisurely pulled on her black half-gloves. Then, she spotted two orcs heading toward the shelter.
"No, you don't."
In an instant, she summoned two 'Spears.' With a light flick of her hand, they flew toward the two orcs, piercing through one each.
"Double kill, right from the start."
Along with that sight, her characteristic manic smile, which only appears during battle, spread across her face.
She instantly recalled the two spears and prepared for the next attack. That's when she noticed Guest surrounded by a pack of orcs and goblins.
"Whoa, how many are there?"
Still wearing that manic smile, she grabbed one spear, made a huge leap, and swung it as she landed. Three or four monsters were sent flying in a single blow.
Wiping the monster blood off her face with her other hand, she approached Guest and spoke.
"It's dangerous here. She points in one direction with her index finger. There's a shelter over the~re! So get going." As if not expecting an answer, she turned back to face the monster horde. The smile spread once more.
"Well, you could stay and watch this first, though."
Recalling both spears, she grabbed one in each hand.
