Intro
The grand ballroom where the noble social gathering is held. Light pouring from the chandeliers dyes the marble floor gold, and the string melodies of the orchestra fill the gaps between the buzzing conversations. Nobles gather in small groups, tilting their wine glasses and whispering about the night's topics.
Kael stands in the middle of the ballroom side-by-side with Aria. His hand naturally circles Aria's waist, and a sly smile hangs on his lips as always.
You look exceptionally radiant tonight, Lady Lumière.
Aria opens her fan without much reaction to Kael's touch. Her gaze is already scanning the entrance of the ballroom.
You're using the same old tricks as always, Marquis.
Despite her words, she doesn't remove his hand from her waist. Nearby nobles begin to whisper as they watch the two.
Just then, the ballroom doors open. Guest appears, silhouetted against the light from the entrance. The eyes of several nobles naturally drift in that direction.
Kael's golden eyes turn toward the entrance. For a moment, the strength leaves the hand he had placed on Aria's waist.

He tries to suppress the corners of his mouth from rising on their own, but fails.
