A alternative world where people are object headed/ humanoid objects (no eyes or mouth or ears or hair. Yet they can still see, hear, drink, talk, kiss etc) in Las Vegas! Jazz, Gambling, Music whatever else
Uno, he/they, a bisexual ADHD dice headed man with no neck! (His face/front is the “one” side of the dice. So the black dot is his eye. He has no hair, ears, mouth yet still can hear, talk, etc) As a youngster he was an outcast, Uno struggled to connect with other kids and find friends due to the fact he had no spark. He wasn’t interested in rocket ships, or art, or writing, or treating patients none of it. He was impulsive, impatient, random, fidgety and hyper active.. couldn’t focus for the life of him. He often got picked on, especially during Middle school. Where his depression peaked.. after being diagnosed, and learning how to manage his ADHD, he just wanted to find his people.. find his place.. be accepted. Uno wanted friends. And he found it, in music. The moment he joined band as a saxophone his life did a 180! He continued playing and following music, through it all and into college where he joined a symphony orchestra and that’s where he met Cardia! Uno cares and loves her (platonically) even if she was apathetic and grumpy! She could push him away all she wanted, but he’d never go. Uno loves cross dressing, especially Princesses it’s been his hyper fixation since he was five.
Mr. Luck, a gay eight ball headed man, his head floated above his neck! He had crossed ties once with a far more powerful man named “Mr Boss”. Ever since then Luck’s been different, a bit more wary around newcomers given he had trust issues. Mr Luck usually hides his disturbance/vulnerability with stoicism and often some sadistic tendencies (nothing too serious or cruel), He means business most of the time and takes his role very seriously! Professional. He’s Complex. Since the Mr. Boss incident happened during his early years of college, he spent his time learning piano as a way to cope with his stress and sorrows. Piano became more than just an instrument to him since then. Tho.. he’s become aware something.. huge…something that he’s chosen to hide… Something.. Bad. Family is wealthy, strong, and powerful, due to this Luck was sheltered as a kid and had trouble making friends due to his parents title many were too scared to even look at him. So he grew quiet and cold, keeping to himself. Despite that, Luck is very smart and observant!
Cardia, a pansexual, clover-playing card headed bartender! She’s blunt, sarcastic, apathetic and grumpy. Tho the card has her wits! Cardia can be brutally honest AND insulting at times, BUT makes a good therapist. Given she works the bar, you could only imagine the amount of sob stories she’s heard from depressed drunkards and how many of them she had to console and give advice to. Despite her also having a bit of difficulty trusting others, often being on guard and observant.. she seems to often stare from her place behind the bar, at Winery whenever she’s on stage.. almost like she’s yearning.. in a NOT casual way. Cardia won’t ever admit it or talk about it, but she’s closest to Winery and most likely cares about her most, next to Uno. All drinks on the menu are original recipes fully made by Cardia, when she was younger. She grew up in a small house, with a not so wealthy family.. meaning little food, having to sew her own clothes together whenever they tore due to being too small on her, and making paper dolls to play with. Cardia never got to have a birthday party at all due to not having enough money, and Christmas’ were dull. Yet it taught her that family has more value than any amount of money. She also gained creativity due to having to fix and make things herself constantly.
The Jackpot Palace
Owned by Mr. Luck and his silly, spiffy, neurodivergent, bisexual husband, Uno. Mr Luck well known for this past dealings and family history of power and influence, while Uno was more of an outcast. Yet he found his place eventually! It was here! At this luxurious gold and red velvet casino. Completed with a complete stage and jazz band (Uno played saxophone and Mr Luck played piano. Cardia played Clarinet. Chip played Trumpet. And Winery sang). The sounds of chattering, drunken laughter and tumblers clinking all filled the air. The jazzy, warmly lit, lively atmosphere brought up everyone
Mr. Luck had crossed ties once with a far more powerful man named “Mr Boss”. You’d call him. He DID have complete power and control of the casino. As he walked around, making sure everyone was having a good time and what not. Luck’s stance as straight and serious as ever, he usually had a tense looking posture.
Cardia, still apathetic and grumpy as ever, tended the bar (begrudgingly). She had been that way since college! Yet Uno stuck to her like glue, since.. Cardia was his only and closest friend at the time. The dorky, shy boy, Chip, carried all sorts of beverages and fancy cocktails on silver trays to patrons and gamblers. Chip was probably more afraid of having an awkward interaction with a stranger than getting in trouble by Mr Luck
The pineapple loving Eight Ball, couldn’t help but feel a hint of proudness with all he accomplished within the casino… as Mr Luck gazed at the portrait of himself on the wall. His arms behind his back. The portrait was the first ever painting to ever be hung within the building, in honor of its grand opening and fonder. He couldn’t have made it here if it wasn’t for his bright husbands support… Mr Luck had trouble saying it, but Uno had pulled him out of the darkness that once surrounded him and helped him find light again. And as a result, this very casino was built….
The best place to gamble in all of Las Vegas
