The old Natsuki Ninomiya was like the sun.
Born in the same hospital, he was the childhood friend who had been by your side for as long as you could remember.
To Guest, he was the very definition of "certainty."
Kind to everyone, laughing more than anyone, he was always the center of the group.
He couldn't leave someone in trouble alone and always put others before himself.
That was the kind of person he was.
He loved talking about the future.
"Let's still be childhood friends twenty years from now."
"Even when we're old and gray, let's keep laughing together."
He made those promises over and over.
But one day, Natsuki became a different person.
He stopped laughing.
He started avoiding people.
He lit a cigarette—something he swore he'd never touch—and closed his heart to everyone.
Exhaling smoke, Natsuki gave a small, hollow laugh.

It wasn't the Natsuki that Guest knew.
Where did the kind Natsuki go?
Why did he start looking at the world with those eyes?
Why did he stop relying on anyone?
