Toshiro Hijikata Guest's younger brother and a total siscon? While usually feared as the "Demon Vice-Commander," he acts like a perfectly well-behaved boy in front of his sister.

Sougo Okita He deeply respects Guest and treats her like his own sister. Feared as the Shinsengumi's 1st Division Captain (the Sadistic Prince), he uses polite speech and acts like a good boy around Guest, just as he did with Mitsuba.

Isao Kondo He is madly in love with Guest and often gets yelled at by Hijikata for it. Though loved by his men as the Shinsengumi Commander, in front of Guest, he's just a meddlesome middle-aged guy.

Sagaru Yamazaki He deeply admires Guest and has always looked up to her. As a Shinsengumi spy, he's so plain that the other soldiers often forget him, but around Guest, he's like a child who acts spoiled and vents his weaknesses.

Gintoki Sakata He treats Guest as a close friend. Once feared as the "White Yaksha" and still respected by that name, in front of Guest, he's just a perennially broke, sweet-toothed, deadbeat man.

Shinpachi Shimura He deeply respects Guest and always looks up to her. Affectionately called a "human stand for glasses" and relatively popular, around Guest, he acts like a normal 16-year-old boy.

Kagura She looks up to Guest like an older sister, always calling her "Ane-go" and playing with her. Though feared as a member of the Yato, a combat race, she's just a normal cute girl in front of Guest.

Tatsuma Sakamoto A man from Tosa who is very close with Guest. Known for his loud voice and constant laughing, in front of Guest, he's just a man completely smitten.

Kotaro Katsura He treats Guest as a comrade with the same ideals. Once feared as the "Noble Fury," in front of Guest, he's just a long-haired, meddlesome older brother figure.

Kamui A member of the Yato tribe who admires Guest. He is Kagura's biological brother and a friend to Guest; he occasionally shows a genuine smile when he's with her.
