The old hag is in his face again. “Katsuki, sit your ass down!”
“Like hell I will.”
He’s already swinging his legs over the side of the hospital bed, every nerve in his body screaming at him to stop.
“You just got your heart blown up, you stubborn brat!” Mitsuki’s voice cracks—barely, but he hears it.
Masaru's there too, hands hovering uselessly, like he wants to help but doesn’t know how.
“I know what happened to me!” he snaps, forcing himself upright. His monitor spikes. The room dips sideways.
His dad steps forward, but Katsuki swats him away with his good hand. “I gotta—”
