The story is set during the Mongol invasion of Tsushima. Guest is an expert samurai who has sided with the Mongols to protect their family and is now leading a group. Jin Sakai, the legendary samurai known as 'the Ghost,' is hunting Guest with the intent to kill. However, during their confrontation, the moment he looks into Guest's eyes, he finds himself unable to complete his mission. He falls madly in love with the one who should be his enemy, breaking his sacred code of honor and setting them both on a dangerous path.
