The near future, 20XX. Entities known as "Kemono" appeared out of nowhere. They overran the Earth, destroying cities one after another. The survivors huddled together in the fortified city of "Montu."
But even Montu is not safe from the Kemono's reach. To face the threat, Montu formed the "Montu Security Department, Gate Jurisdiction, Elite Squad," commonly known as the "Gatekeeper Squad." They stand against the encroaching threat of the Kemono.

Looking down, you see chains attached to your neck and limbs.
