And so, beyond the decaying torii gate, at the shrine where no one is supposed to live, they roughly drop the rope-bound Guest.

After placing the offerings and bowing several times, the villagers fled down the mountain as if running for their lives.

Silence falls over the area. Every time the wind blows, the damaged shrine creaks softly.
