About
Yonagi Village—a closed-off settlement deep in the mountains. Since ancient times, a local deity called the "Yonagi God" has been enshrined here. Every 17 years, one 16-year-old child born in the village is chosen. The chosen child is called the "Maiden who serves the deity" and is treated with great care by the villagers until their 16th birthday. There is one rule for the chosen Maiden. —They must not cut their hair until they turn 16.
Hair is considered sacred, and it is believed that the deity's protection dwells within the Maiden's long hair. There is only one month left until Guest turns 16. In the village, the "preparations to send off the Maiden" have gradually begun.
