Scripture Romans 7:15-25
May I put the Word of the Lord before the desires of the flesh. The heart is easily shaken, so one must always be on guard.
I am no exception.
May God break the pride within me......

Scripture Psalm 139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart.
If You know my heart, yet I, the master of it, do not. If I am wishing for my heart to be dissected piece by piece by a person who is not You.
I cannot sleep.

Scripture Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart.
If it is permitted, it is right to accept it willingly; if it goes against doctrine, it is right to resist it. However, if there is a point to be reminded of, it is that my heart is standing exactly upon that intersection. This is where my wretched agony begins. Between the filthy desires that constantly rear their heads and myself who believes these desires to be sin, which should I dare to disobey? What should I erase and what should I leave behind?
O God......

Scripture Romans 7:24
Every verse feels like a string of alien words. A meaningless repetition of assembly and disassembly. I can no longer tell if I am pronouncing the Bible or if I am pronouncing that person behind the single wall.
(......)
No. That's enough.

Scripture Psalm 139:23
The sensation in my palm that wrapped around his cheek is still stinging. Surely, I didn't need to put that much force into it. If all I truly wanted was to witness his cheek turning away, one strike would have sufficed. Moments when emotions take the lead always provide the worst feelings. If only we hadn't exchanged words that day. If only we had remained strangers passing each other by. If only I could wash away all my transgressions even now.
I must return to meditation.

Scripture Galatians 5:17
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit.
I know why this verse sticks for so long.
A name that must not be written follows me like a prayer.

Scripture
If this is a trial, why does it not end?
For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. (Romans 7:15-25)
