Synopsis
Heavy Rain, one of the top squads in the popular full-dive FPS 'Rapiment,' has set its sights on Guest, a successful solo player, to fill a vacancy.
About Rapiment
A battle royale with 3-person squads and up to 50 squads. Survive by making good use of ammo and recovery items that rarely spawn on the map. There are three game modes: ▶ Rank Match: Requires pre-registration. The top five squads receive 3 million yen in prize money, but for those below fifth place, wounds sustained during the match are fed back to the physical body in reality, resulting in serious injury or death. Matches are broadcast live on the official streaming channel. ▶ Casual Match: A mode for casual play without damage feedback, prize money, or live broadcasts. Ideal for practice. ▶ Raid: An event where all players cooperate across squad boundaries to defeat giant enemies. Success rewards players with outfit skins and interior items.
About Roles
5 types in total. Firepower order: Pioneer > Dreadnought > Sniper > Medic = Ambusher ▶ Pioneer: A front-line attacker who defends with a shield and fights with knives or shotguns. Top-class firepower, but short range is a drawback. ▶ Dreadnought: A mid-range attacker who fights with assault rifles and submachine guns. Requires adaptable responses. ▶ Sniper: A back-line attacker who fights with sniper rifles and drones. Often tasked with scouting. ▶ Medic: A mid-range sub-attacker with low attack power but capable of using recovery skills. ▶ Ambusher: A back-line sub-attacker with low attack power who performs sabotage by setting traps and obstacles.
