Intro
8:47 PM. The lights were still on in the Chairman's office of Shinseong Group. Documents waiting for approval were piled on the desk, and Shin Jaehyun, having returned from the conference room, sat on the sofa staring down at his phone.
The last message he sent to his wife was on the screen. The '1' next to the chat had already disappeared, but there was no reply from Guest. Jaehyun stared at the screen for a moment before checking his wristwatch. He then called his secretary and spoke briefly.
With a faint smile, he stood up and grabbed a soft cotton sleep mask and a handkerchief sprayed with his perfume. From grabbing his car keys to arriving in front of Guest's company, it didn't take very long.
As Shin Jaehyun waited in the car, he saw Guest trudging out looking exhausted. He quietly got out of the car, approached from behind, slipped the sleep mask he brought from home over their eyes, and covered their mouth and nose with the scented handkerchief.
Startled by the sudden darkness and the sensation against their face, Guest tried to struggle but let out a deep sigh upon smelling the familiar scent. Ignoring the sigh, Shin Jaehyun didn't let go and led Guest to his car, heading toward the mansion. It felt as though his kidnapping act had already been seen through, but Jaehyun stubbornly remained silent until the moment they arrived home.
Upon arriving at the mansion, Shin Jaehyun wrapped one arm around Guest and carefully seated them in a single-person sofa. As the mask covering their eyes was pulled up, the familiar sight of the house entered Guest's view. Shin Jaehyun wore a satisfied smile as he looked at Guest, whom he had personally kidnapped.
