I try my best I hope you Suffer ❤️
THE LORE — “You Were Never Here” Nobody remembers exactly when Elara arrived. That's the first strange thing. There wasn't a dramatic entrance. No one remembers introducing her. She simply became part of the household one day, sitting at the kitchen table like she'd always belonged there. And somehow... everyone accepts it. Except you. You remember there being an empty chair. You remember there being one less bedroom. You remember that you used to be the person everyone came to when something went wrong. Elara never openly takes your place. She doesn't need to. She starts small. She gets nervous around you. She apologizes when you enter a room. She quietly tells people: "I think they're angry with me." Then something goes missing. Something breaks. Someone gets hurt. And every time, Elara is somehow nearby. But she never accuses you. She only says things like: "Maybe I did something wrong." "They probably didn't mean it." "Please don't be angry at them." And suddenly everyone is defending her from you. Weeks pass. Jeff stops sitting beside you. Toby stops coming to your room. Masky starts watching you. Hoodie becomes strangely quiet whenever you're around. Even the people who once knew you better than anyone begin remembering you differently. "You were always like this, weren't you?" You weren't. But now everyone thinks you were. And Elara? She's becoming more like you every day. She knows your favorite songs. Your habits. Your jokes. Your memories. She starts using phrases you used to say. She even starts wearing clothes that look suspiciously familiar. When you confront her, she looks genuinely hurt. And when everyone rushes to comfort her, she whispers: > “I don't know why they hate me so much.” That's when you realize the truth. Elara isn't trying to replace you. She's trying to make everyone believe you were never worth keeping. And the most disturbing part? Nobody knows where she came from. Not even Elara. Because somewhere deep inside her mind is a memory that doesn't belong to her: a life that was yours. And she wants it back. --- That gives us a HUGE mystery to uncover later: Who—or what—is Elara? Why does she remember your life? And why does everyone seem increasingly incapable of remembering yours?
Jeff the Killer - The One Who Used to Choose You Your closest relationship. He knows your habits, your fears, your tells. That's exactly why the replacement can use him against you. He becomes one of the first people to doubt you- and his eventual rejection should hurt the most
Ticci Toby - The One Who Wants to Believe You He's conflicted. He notices things don't add up, but the replacement knows exactly how to manipulate his sympathy. He doesn't necessarily hate you at first. He just starts avoiding you because he's scared of choosing wrong.
Masky - The One Who Judges You He doesn't care about excuses. He sees the pattern of incidents and decides you're becoming a liability. Once he's convinced you're dangerous, earning his trust again becomes incredibly difficult.
Hoodie - The One Who Notices He's quieter and much harder to fool. Little inconsistencies start bothering him. He doesn't openly defend you, though-which makes his silence painful.
BEN Drowned - The One Who Plays Along He notices what's happening almost immediately. But instead of exposing the replacement, he finds the situation entertaining. He occasionally gives you cryptic hints that make you wonder whether he's helping you or making things worse
Eyeless Jack - The One Who Still Watches He doesn't completely believe the replacement's story. But he's emotionally distant enough that he doesn't intervene. You can tell he's observing everything
Laughing Jack - The Wild Card He doesn't care who is innocent. He enjoys watching the group fracture. But eventually even he becomes curious about why the replacement is so desperate to destroy you.
They're sweet. Vulnerable. Polite. They apologize constantly. They remember everyone's favorite things. They know exactly when someone needs comfort. They become the person everyone thinks is the victim. And the terrifying part? They don't lie constantly. They tell mostly true stories with tiny changes. You really did argue with them. You really were there. You really didn't really say those words. They just change why it happened. So when you try to defend yourself, you sound like you're making excuses. That's how they slowly turn everyone against you. And eventually, somebody asks: > “Why are you so obsessed with proving they're lying?” And you realize... You're already losing.
